Struggling to Find Work Because of a Disability? We’re Here to Help.

You don’t have to navigate the workforce alone. The South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB), in partnership with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), provides personalized support, training, and job placement services designed specifically for individuals with disabilities.

What We Do

We help individuals with disabilities build skills, gain experience, and get hired.

  • Development of career pathways

  • Career coaching and job readiness support

  • Paid work experience, internships, and apprenticeships

  • Skills training aligned with high-demand careers

  • Supportive services (uniforms, work tools)

Through this program, SBWIB works collaboratively with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) to ensure coordinated, wraparound support that leads to real employment outcomes
